Great Langdale Glamping is situated in the Lake District on our traditional working fell farm, Harry Place.
We offer accommodation all year round in original handcrafted luxury timber pods. The pods are equipped with everything thing you will need for an enjoyable stay.
All our glamping pods feature a luxury wood-fired hot-tub.
Our bespoke luxury glamping pods have a double bed, fresh linen, en-suite bathroom & shower, kitchen with hob, log burner, underfloor heating and a view which we think has to be one of the best in the Cumbria.
We accept bookings all year round with Mon to Fri & Fri to Mon as typical holiday breaks. Our glamping pods are fully equipped with everything you could need for a romantic getaway or a fantastic staycation.
Please note there is no Wifi access on site & we are a working farm so there will be animals around, Cockerels crowing, Sheep bleating and dogs barking to name but a few.
Named after the magnificent fells they look out on, our glamping pods feature everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay in the heart of stunningly glorious Lake District.
We're a family run farm so it's typical to see lambing, shearing and gathering throughout the year, as well as a few chickens and ducks wandering round.
Great Langdale valley covers over 12,170 acres, much of it in the care of the National Trust. The valley stretches from Ambleside through Clappersgate, Skelwith Bridge, Elterwater, Chapel Stile and the glaciated valley of Mickledon.
The surrounding fells include Pike O’Blisco , Crinkle Crags, Rossett Pike & the Langdale Pikes. It’s a walkers paradise and a getaway from it all location.
We are close to all the favourite hotspots with Ambleside & Coniston only 15 minutes drive away and Grasmere 5 minutes.
